Filigrana is the new collection 2024 designed by the due Zanellato/Bortotto for l’Opificio. Filigrana features a quartet of patterns, each inspired by the traditional craftsmanship unique to Murano glass, reinterpreted with a contemporary twist. The collection pays particular homage to the murrine—colorful patterns or images created in glass rods, which become visible when the rods are cut into sections. The vibrant and sophisticated patterns Bollicine, Comete, Grani, and Nebulosa gain tactile and visual three-dimensionality through the selection of diverse yarns and hues. The fabrics are two-weft lampas made of cotton and viscose and the pattern Nebulosa is available in 12 colour variants. The price refers to one meter of fabric. Sold in multiple of one meter.
